Bring a Rockville Little Theatre play to the stage.

Rockville Little Theatre is seeking Directors for our 2026-27 season.

RLT has selected August Wilson’s Fences for its Page-to-Stage production in Spring 2027 (April 25 – May 9, 2027). If you are interested in directing Fences, please submit a proposal by November 28, 2025 to: directors@rlt-online.org. Your submission should include:

Resume (even if you have directed with us before)
A short essay on why you are submitting the play.
Your ideas on how to present the play.
Production suggestions (period, costumes, number or type of sets, special set requirements, unusual technical issues, etc.)

RLT is also seeking proposals for a comedy for its Winter 2027 production (January 29 – February 7, 2027). The list of approved scripts is below. If you are interested in directing one of these shows, please submit a proposal by November 28, 2025 to: directors@rlt-online.org. Your submission should include:

Resume (even if you have directed with us before)
A short essay on why you are submitting the play.
Your ideas on how to present the play.
Production suggestions (period, costumes, number or type of sets, special set requirements, unusual technical issues, etc.)

Directors are not paid.

Directors may be interviewed as part of the selection process.

The selected proposals are expected to be announced in late December/early January.

Rockville Little Theatre is an all volunteer organization that presents classic favorites and contemporary treasures from famous dramatic names and some not-so-famous. We take to the stage in the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Although our name says “Little”, the quality of our performances is anything but.
