PAULINE GRILLER-MITCHELL
Pauline Griller-Mitchell returns to Rockville Little Theatre to direct her second production for the group – having previously directed Run For Your Wife in 2004. More recently Pauline directed her fourth full length production for Chevy Chase Players, Kind Lady. Pauline has many directorial credits to her name including: a traditional pantomime for the British Players – Snow White – in December 2007; several productions for Silver Spring Stage, where Pauline won the WATCH 2004 Outstanding Director for Silver Spring Stage’s Production of Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn, which also garnered the 2004 WATCH Award for Outstanding non-musical production. Pauline was also Producer for the Stage’s Never the Sinner, which garnered the 2007 Watch Outstanding Production Award. Pauline has also directed at Montgomery Playhouse.Pauline retired from the World Bank early in 2001; Pauline is also on the Board of Silver Spring Stage where she holds the position of Vice Chair and Editor of the Stage's monthly newsletter Callboard. She will be directing The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie for Silver Spring Stage in July/August 2009.
